Jakub Słupski, LL.M. specializes in copyrights, the protection of personal rights, as well as media and advertising law. At Patpol Legal he is responsible, among others, for providing comprehensive legal services to entrepreneurs running activity in the field of functional art and creative art, but he also provides assistance to individual creators.

In his previous practice, Jakub Słupski represented among others the biggest Polish private television broadcaster in the disputes concerning the protection of personal rights, copyrights and combating unfair competition. He also represented one of the biggest Polish financial institutions in connection with protection of personal rights, and a number of various manufacturers in the disputes with traders of counterfeit goods imitating the manufacturers’ original products. In addition, several famous brand owners relied on his professional assistance in the field of copyrights and trademark infringements.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. He is also a graduate of the American Law School – the study program performed by the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with Catholic University of America (DC), and also WIPO’s Summer School of Intellectual Property Law in Dubrovnik. He is the holder of the degrees LL.M. and Master Droit Privé from Université de Cergy-Pontoise in France.

Jakub is a scholarship holder from BGF – a scholarship granted by the French government via the agency of the French Embassy in Poland.

He lectures at Université de Cergy-Pontoise in France and at the Vistula Group of Universities.

Jakub has authored and co-authored a number of publications on copyrights, personal rights, the protection of competition and consumers, and theory of law.
