Alicja Rytel is an attorney at Patpol Legal, specializing in litigation concerning intellectual property rights infringements and unfair competition. She has also handled numerous domain disputes, including those before international arbitration bodies, and has represented clients in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
She gained her professional experience working in law firms specializing in intellectual property. She also worked as an in-house lawyer for one of Poland’s largest publishing houses, where she led the legal department and handled all legal matters of the company, including copyright issues.
In 2024, she was recognized in the international IAM 1000 ranking.
Ms. Rytel is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University, as well as a graduate of comparative literature from the Faculty of Polish Studies at the same university. She is an Erasmus program scholarship recipient at Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich. She completed the Polish School of Reportage. She is a member of INTA (International Trademark Association).
